Where have all the homeowners gone? Why are there investors
where there were once children playing? ...Dads and moms
holding, within their hands, a semblance of the American
Dream? Neighbors chatting over back fences? Does anyone care
that criminal networks hiding behind legal shields and in bureaucratic cracks
are the only ones permitted under the law to own a home -
and, a fabulous one at that? Why have those who represented
us allowed thugs to break into our living rooms, take food from our kitchens
and slip into our bedrooms stealing all we deem precious? Why have
we allowed these monsters to coldly, viciously toss our crying children
on to the streets while we, the homeowners are made to feel as if,
somehow, we earned this cruel fate. Where have all the homeowners gone,

and contracting associates the only ones left in America permitted to live
